Mild steel is probably the most popular material at the moment, as a lot of customers are wanting the aged/rusty look, and mild steel is perfect for that.
We can quickly age the letters & shapes with various methods to give very different looks from the same material. You can have the industrial look which is very scuffed and slightly rusty, the ‘Rusty’ look is 100% rust coverage, and the heat treated version where heat and chemicals are applied to the material which gives a unique colour to the final letters.
None of these processes impact on the strength of the material and fixings, it is a surface effect which we protect with a clear laquer afterwards.
Suitable for letters and shapes of any shape and size.
Wood is a very general term which for us covers hard woods such as Oak, plywoods and MDFs.
Engraving, milling out, simple cutting, 3D programs, wood really is the CNC operators best friend and worst nightmare. It’s very easy to cut, and because of the 1000’s of ways wood can be finished, the results that can be achieved are pretty much limitless, therefore the intricate programming on the machines can take some time for the more complicated jobs. Simple letters and shapes are very straight forward.
If you have a specific type of wood in mind we may ask you to supply a sample for us to do a free of charge test job to check timings etc.
Suitable for letters and shapes of any shape and size.
