Our New Office Hours
At The Sign Group, we understand that creating a supportive work environment is essential for the well-being of our employees. Over the past year, major roadworks outside our factory have made commutes difficult, affecting our team's mental health and work-life balance. That's why we've been trialling a new shift pattern, and we're delighted to share that the change has been a tremendous success. Starting from next week, we will be permanently changing our working hours to prioritize our employees' mental well-being.
During the trial period, our team worked from 7:45 am to 4:15 pm, a 15-minute change from our previous schedule. Although this may not seem like a significant change, it's made a remarkable difference to commute times, supporting our employees' work-life balance and mental health. We received positive feedback from our team, which helped us evaluate the effectiveness of the new working hours. As a result, we've decided to make the change permanent, starting from next week.
Our team has been fantastic during the trial period, providing valuable feedback and showing their willingness to adapt. We couldn't have done it without them! We're committed to creating a happier, healthier workforce, and we're excited to see the positive impact that this change will have on our employees' well-being.
We understand that change can sometimes be concerning, but we want to assure our customers that this won't affect the market-leading service they've come to expect from us. In fact, we've installed a new phone system that will make it even easier to speak with us. Our focus on delivering top-quality service remains steadfast, and we're excited to continue serving our customers with the same level of excellence while prioritizing the well-being of our employees.
We believe that prioritizing our employees' mental health and well-being will create a more productive and happier workforce. As an organization, we're committed to fostering a work environment that supports our employees' mental health and well-being. We're proud to take these steps towards creating a better future for our team and our company.
We hope that this change will inspire other companies to prioritize their employees' mental health and well-being. By creating supportive work environments, we can improve not just our employees' lives, but also their families and communities'.
Thank you for your continued support.
